Grounds and Gardens of Remembrance

Our Grounds and Gardens of Remembrance are open 365 days a year via footpath access. Vehicular access is available from 8am to 5pm including weekends. We welcome dog walkers and dogs within the grounds, however they must be kept on a lead and owners must clean up after their dogs.

Christmas opening times

The crematorium office will be open as below:

24 December (Wed) – open from 8.30am until 2pm. Last service at 12noon.
25 December (Thu) – CLOSED
26 December (Fri) – CLOSED
29 December (Mon) – closed for services. Office phone lines open from 10am to 12noon.
30 December (Tue) – office open 10am to 2pm. Service times available from 10am to 1pm.
31 December (Wed) – closed for services. Office phone lines open from 10am to 12noon.
1 January 2026 (Thu) – CLOSED
2 January onwards – open as normal from 8.30am

Services

Our services are 45 minutes long to give you all the time you need to say goodbye. You can also add more time to your service if you would like a longer service. The earliest booking is 9am and the latest is 4pm from Monday to Friday. Ceremonies are also available to book on Saturdays from 9am until 11am by request only.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome at our services.

Our office is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
